Here is how you make the spread:
1 stick of butter, softened
1/2 cup coconut oil, solid, not liquid
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
If you are not crazy about the olive oil taste, or want something with a more neutral flavor, substitute canola oil for the olive oil. Canola is a heart healthy fat as well.
Cream together butter and coconut oil.
Toss in the salt.
Then stream in the olive oil.
Blend until thoroughly combined.
